All shining stars must develop and maintain appropriate behaviors while on duty in order to create a positive learning environment for themselves and others. The rules are simple for shining stars to follow, rewards are a part of promoting expectations and rules. In the classroom we will use verbal reinforcement and positive incentives. We will use class dojo and a behavior chart to monitor students behavior daily.

Behavior Chart Everyone will start their day on STAR. Throughout the day students will either move their clips upward becoming a shining star (positive behavior) or lose power to become a falling star (negative behavior) move clip downward. Students will have several opportunities to correct the negative behaviors, and come home as a star or shining star |
